The key to EasyAsk’s success in the enterprise is – and will be – EasyAsk Business Edition. While the name is new, the company has a range of enterprise customers already using the solution to enable a new set of users to access hard-to-find company information – those employees without access to traditional, complex BI and reporting tools.

The value proposition – delivering operational insight for the masses at a relatively inexpensive price point – is clear. However, the market for BI solutions is crowded and the diversity of offerings and their capabilities – such as traditional BI applications, dashboards, and even homegrown data access through spreadsheets – makes it difficult for a product like EasyAsk Business Edition to gain market traction. To overcome this hurdle, EasyAsk is fine-tuning the product and its marketing in order to showcase the return of enabling a larger set of employees to access business data.
